Methodology

The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2011. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million. Shawn Cox started with Wireless Communications in October if 2011 and is currently an associate at the Crabapple store in Alpharetta, Georgia.  Right away Shawn began to excel in customer service, he is often awarded “Perfect 10″ Net Promoter Scores by past customers.  Shawn was awarded a VZW “Coin of Excellence”, a personal email from the VZW Channel Director, a certificate signed by the Region President and Channel Director and recognition in the monthly Indirect newsletter and the VZW homepage.

Melanie Smith was hired into our Manager In Training Program in March of 2012 and right away she began to take action at her Holly Springs, Georgia location.  Melanie is the portrait of community involvement; she is actively involved in the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and helps raise money, food and awareness for local charitable organizations.  She was awarded the coin of excellence for her very successful Grand Opening Celebration on May 11th. Through connecting with the community and local businesses Melanie was able to maximize all her resources to pull off one of the most successful Grand Opening Events in Wireless Communications history.  This caught the eye of Verizon Corporate Leadership and a few weeks later she was also recognized and awarded the “Coin of Excellence”.

Wireless Communications new office space located at 105 E. North Street in downtown Greenville, SC

January marked a significant milestone in the growth of Wireless Communications. The corporate office location moved from a small 2,200 square foot space on Augusta St. to the heart of downtown Greenville just a block from Main Street to 105 E. North Street in a 7,500 square foot space.

Mr. Patel was involved in every aspect of the renovation and construction of the existing building, taking the time to plan not just for present but also for the future. From the modern light fixtures to the automatic bathroom sinks there is a strategic purpose for every element of the office space. The company has even added offices and desks for employees that may not be hired until a year or two in the future.”We have tripled the size of our corporate office and I think it really showcases the growth and expansion at Wireless Communications,” says Krish Patel, President and founder of Wireless Communications. “I would encourage anyone to come and visit our new state-of-the art facility,” he adds.

On Tuesday, December 20th Wireless Communications and Verizon Corporate will be co-sponsoring “HopeLine® Night”.  Those who wish to help out survivors of domestic violence can bring an old phone to the rink between 5pm – 9pm and will receive $2 off admission to the rink.

Two new locations have been added to the Wireless Communications’ lineup in Northeast Georgia.  In December the company launched two new and convenient locations in Alpharetta and Holly Springs, Georgia.

The two corporate takeover locations are located in Toccoa, GA next to the Wal-Mart shopping center and in Athens, GA in the Georgia Square Mall.  These two locations opened on Sunday, October 30^th and the leadership at Wireless Communications plans to make these locations even more successful than in previous years.

An additional location opened in Aiken, SC just in time for customers to take advantage of Black Friday deals, this location is a kiosk located in the Aiken Mall just off of Whiskey Road.  Wireless Communications now has two locations in Aiken to better serve their customer base.

This weekend Wireless Communications opened a seventh Georgia location in Canton, GA on Holly Springs Parkway in front of Home Depot.  This will be one of two locations to open just north of Atlanta, with another store scheduled to open in Alpharetta, GA later this week.
